Laura Kathleen Reed, 66, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 following a prolonged illness. Born August 15, 1954 in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Gober and Bessie Robinson Gober. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Greer. Laura was a graduate of Goodlettsville High School. She had worked in office administration for many years having been employed by Davita Healthcare and more recently by HCA. In her younger years she enjoyed watching area races. She was a good natured, simple country woman. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved the fall and winter seasons and especially enjoyed spending time with her family at the large holiday gatherings they would have. A Christian woman she loved her church and her Lord. Laura is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Brian Reed; her daughter, Brandy (Waylon) West; her step-children, Michael B. Reed and Lindsey Cleghorn; grandchildren, Allan Cleghorn, Jr., Marissa Cleghorn and Kelsie Cleghorn; her sister, Debra (Jerry) Worrell; extended family and many friends. Visitation for Laura will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, TN, Sunday from 1 to 4 pm and Monday from 10 am until 12 noon. A celebration of life service will follow at 12noon Monday with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Goodlettsville, TN.
