Larry Lancaster

Larry G. Lancaster was born June 22, 1949. Passed on August 18, 2011. For those that knew him the �G� stood for "Goodtimes". He loved to drink and fight and have a good time in his younger years. He was a hard man but simple. He was the type of man if he loved you he had your back all the way. He never turned away any man if he wanted to work or drink, for a little money. He felt if you wanted something you shouldn�t mind working a little for it. In his later years sickness softened a hard man. Pop loved his family and his dog, Luther. Most of his time was spent watching old westerns and Jerry Springer. He made a lot of friends along the way. Survived by his wife, Patricia Lancaster; son, Larry Renee Lancaster; daughters, Cynthia Perez, Gina Ivey; brothers, Jimmy T. Lancaster and Percy Lancaster; grandchildren, DeeAnna Ivey, Mathew Ivey, Lucas Lancaster, Ethan Lancaster, Morgan Hollars, Paige Hollars, Brianna Perez, Paul Cheek, Darrell Hollars. Visitation will be 1-5 pm Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, 615-646-9292.
