LUTHER Hall Dink Newman age 90 of Hendersonville, Sunday June 13, 2010. He is survived b y his wife, Nancy Newman, son; John Franklin Newman, daughters; Linda Gail Newman Randy Isaacs and Madelyn Cheryl Newman, stepson; Scott Richard Mitzy Porter, grandchildren; Kendal Norris Lewis, Jenny Isaacs Lowe, John Alexander Hall and Madelyn Victoria Kendal Newman, step grandchildren; Coulson Middleton and Cameron Coulson Porter, great grandchildren; Zyon Norris Frauen and Lucy Lowe. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 P.M. on Tuesday June 15 at Hendersonville Funeral Home and on Wednesday June 16 from 1 P.M. until service time at 2 P.M. at the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Services will be conducted by Rev. Ben Alexander, Rev. Don Hutchinson and Rev. Lynn Hinkle. A Masonic service will be conducted at 8 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will include; the Hendersonville Noon Sertoma Club, the Hendersonville Coffee Club, James Martin, S r., the Lions Club of Hendersonville, Jimmy England and the employees of the Indian Lake Rd. Cracker Barrell. Active pallbearers will be; Tim Wheeler, Louis Oliver, Andy Cox, Howard P. Dean, Bill Cox, Floyd Wilkinson, Mike Lewis and Andy Lowe. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church.
