Kenneth Stach

STACH, Kenneth D. Age 78 of Nashville, born February 29, 1932, Chicago, IL. Passed away February 15, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur G. Stach and Myrtle L. Stach. Survived by his wife of 11 years, Sara J. Stach; children, William G. Leigh Ann Stach, Susanne J. Pino Squillace and James T. Audrey Bauer Stach; step-children, Steven Lisa Jones, Jane Steve Marsh; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Stach was a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Economics/Finance with post-graduate work at the University of New York. He came to Nashville in 1976 to join Third National Bank where he was engaged with executive responsibilities for national and international commercial lending. In 1981 he joined The Emery Partnership and was involved in commercial real estate development. He retired in 1998 after 5 years of service with Healthcare Realty Trust, a Nashville based real estate investment trust. He was a member of the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church. During retirement he was a volunteer at Saint Thomas Hospital and delivered Meals on Wheels. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our faithful and supportive friends who have been with us through trying times. The funeral service will be at 10 am, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions are made to Guardian Hospice, 800 Crescent Centre Dr., Suite 550, Franklin, TN 37067, Nashville Rescue Mission, 639 Lafayette St., Nashville, TN 37203, or Hillsboro Presbyterian Church, 5820 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215.
