Julia Parker

Julia I. Parker, age 84, of Auburn, AL passed away July 3, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Julia was born in Nashville, TN on July 11, 1925. She was a long time resident of Hendersonville, TN before moving to Auburn in 2007. She was a loving mother to her 4 children and devoted to her late husband, F. W. "Pat" Parker. Julia was an active member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville for many years having taught Sunday school and participated in numerous activities with the church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Fulton Hire; and sisters, Octive Hall and Jean Frazier. She is survived by her sons, Steve Parker and wife, Patsy of Auburn, AL; John Parker and wife, Katherine Degerberg of Ellicott City, MD; Tom Parker and wife, Stephanie of Royersford, PA; grandchildren, Stephanie Parker and husband, Tadd Smith of Birmingham, AL; David Parker of Auburn, AL; Susie Fulton and husband, Clay Harvey of Nashville, TN; Patrick, Chael, Hayden and Savannah Parker of Royersford, PA; and great-grandchild Kaci Fulton of Nashville. Graveside services will be conducted 2 P.M., Saturday, July 10 in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until service time.
