Judy Adkins, a dedicated professional who spent 45 remarkable years in the banking industry, with the majority of her career contributing to the success of Bank of Goodlettsville, has sadly passed away at the age of 78. Judy was born on June 7, 1945, and departed from this world on February 28, 2024.
Throughout her lifetime, Judy achieved great milestones both professionally and academically. She graduated from Martin Methodist College with a degree in banking and later pursued further education at LSU, where she obtained a banking certificate. Her commitment to the field was unwavering and admirable.
Aside from her illustrious career, Judy found joy and fulfillment in various hobbies and interests. She cherished socializing with friends, actively participated in the Goodlettsville High School Alumni Association, enjoyed meeting friends for lunch, found solace in reading, and had a green thumb when it came to gardening.
One of Judy's proudest accomplishments was being a loving grandmother to her grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as "JuJu". Her impact on their lives will forever be treasured and remembered with great fondness.
Judy is now reunited with her beloved parents, Joseph and Pauline Peay; her devoted husband of 57 years, Frank Adkins; and her dear sister, Donna P. Stephens. Though she may have left this world, Judy's spirit lives on through her surviving son, Kyle (Jamie) Adkins; grandchildren Carson Maxwell and Avery Adkins; as well as nieces Lisa (Jim) Moore, Leslie (Marty) Crump, Linde (Mark) Waller.
