Judith L. Pate, "Judi," age 75 of White House, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2021 after a several-week illness. She was born in Westfield, New York on December 28, 1945 to the late Russell Melvin Cross and Doris Eleanor Ormsby Cross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Smith Pate, about whom she loved to recount memories. She is survived by her step-daughter, Sherri Pate Todd and step-son, Ronald Pate Jr., and five grandchildren. Judi was a longtime White House resident and a member of Berean Baptist Church in White House. She was thankful for her salvation through Jesus Christ alone and enjoyed being with her church family. She loved to hear the young people and adults sing for services at church and was a great encourager, both with her spoken and written words. She enjoyed writing creatively and used this God-given gift to write notes of encouragement. She often ministered to Berean college students by saving quarters to give them for laundry. She loved horses (along with just about any animal) and thoroughly enjoyed her pony, her cat, and even the farm animals across the street from her home! Her ready smile and quick wit will be missed. Graveside service will be at 2pm Thursday October 7, 2021 at White House Memorial Gardens.
