Joyce Link

Joyce Ann Link, 69, of Murfreesboro passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at her home. Born in Nashville on October 11, 1952, Joyce was the daughter and only child of the late Mary Elizabeth (Lanier) Link and William Clark Link. She grew up on the family farm and spent most of her youth in Goodlettsville. She was the granddaughter of Dr. Marshall Link and spent much of her time as a young girl with her cousin Elaine at their grandmother’s home. Joyce attended Clover Bottom Developmental Center after her mother passed away in 1968. Later, she moved to Murfreesboro and was under the care of Tennessee Family Solutions in 2010 until her day of death. Joyce is survived by her cousin, friend, guardian, and longtime advocate, Elaine Dismang. She is also survived by a host of close relatives. Joyce was loved by her friends and gained many close relationships with her caregivers, nurses, and therapists in her last years.

Private family services will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville with interment at Beech Grove Cemetery, Brick Church Pike following the funeral service.
