HILL, Joyce B., February 23, 2007, age 76 of Hendersonville. Preceded in death by her mother, Grace Burgess, and sister, Lovette Seevers. Survived by her loving husband and companion of 44 years, Ernest (Ernie) Hill; daughter, Beverly DeVone; son, Ray Hill; brother, Gerald Burgess; grandsons, Ben Hill and Brandon Hill. Mrs. Hill was a very active member of Trinity Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Visitation with the family will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Hendersonville Monday from 4 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday February 27, at 1:00 p.m. from Trinity Baptist Church, 840 Forest Retreat Rd., Hendersonville with Rev. Steve Nelson, and Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Interment Old Brush Cemetery Portland. Active pallbearers: Ben Hill, Brandon Hill, Steven Burgess, William Trivett, Frank Sain, Wallace Billington, B.F. Hill III, and Tony Bodaford. Honorary pallbearers: Jim Stevens, Bobby Bodaford, John Bottom, Bill Bodaford, Odell Kirk, Virgil Ray, Steve Ray, and the Alton Agee Sunday School Class at Trinity Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made to Trinity Baptist Church walking track fund.
