Joyce Bowers

Joyce Elaine Gregg Bowers of Lebanon, TN passed away February 23, 2017. Joyce was born January 12, 1956 in Eupora, MS to parents Edward Erwin Edwards and Mavis Madeline Shaw Edwards. She was 61 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lera Ann Edwards; step-mother, Beatrice Trainor Edwards.

Joyce is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Amber Gregg, Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon Gregg, Hunter Gregg, Brandie Huey; great-grandson, Westin Dowdy; step-sons, Mike (Sherry) Bowers, Daniel Bowers and four surviving brothers in MS, James Earl "Jimmy" and Sarah Edwards, Joe Erwin and Gail Edwards, Jerry Edwin Edwards and Jack Elijah and Janet Edwards.

Family and friends will gather Sunday, February 26th at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home to remember, share memories and pay their final respects to Joyce from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
After her Celebration of Life service here, Joyce will be taken to her home town Eupora, MS to Oliver Funeral Home, 1060 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Eupora, MS for service there and burial.

In lieu of flowers, Joyce requests memorial contribution be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or to the American Cancer Society in her name.
