John Wilson Jr.

WILSON, John Jr. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, died Monday morning, September 21, 2009 at the age of 83 in Erin, TN, where he and his wife, Eileen Janice Guill Wilson, have resided for over 40 years. Prior to moving to Erin, they resided in Old Hickory, TN. He was born to John H. and Emaline (Davenport) Wilson on January 17, 1926. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Wilson was a United States Marine and served in World War II. He retired from the Ford Glass Plant in 1984 and also was employed by DuPont. Mr. Wilson was a great outdoorsman and loved fishing, hunting and farming. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Iva Mai Anderson and Bertalee Ellis. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Eileen Janice Guill Wilson; his children, John Wayne Wilson & wife Jeannie, Joe Charles Wilson & wife Sandra, Caleb Wilson, John J. Wilson & wife Angela, Stormy Rena Wilson Eutsler & husband Chris. Mr. Wilson has eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House, TN on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 4 - 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 in the chapel of Cole & Garrett Funeral Home.
