John Ryman

RYMAN, John Edward, age 74, of Nashville, April 16, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, William Tracy Ryman and Nora Boston Ryman. He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Rosie Curran Ryman; children, John Tracy Ryman, wife, Linda, Mark Edward Ryman, wife, Natalie, and Holli Jean Ryman Williams, husband, Frederick; grandchildren, Reagan, Rachel, Richard and Mallory; brother, Robert Tracy Ryman, wife, Merrill. He was a graduate of Peabody College, and obtained his CPCU and ARM designations. Professionally, he was involved in the insurance industry for many years and served as President of Cherokee Insurance Company. A man who found great joy in his children and grandchildren. He found Gods greatest creations in Nature and loved all of the outdoors. Known for his tender heart for animals and support of several nature organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tennessee Wildlife Federation and The Nature Conservancy. The memorial service will be 12 noon Monday, April 19, 2010 with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME 6962 Charlotte Pike 615-352-9400
