PERKINS, John, Nashville, February 2, 2008. Preceded in death by wife, Laura Perkins; son, Johnny Perkins. Survived by, daughters, Faye Perry, Bobbie Perkins Lipski, Brenda Brad Bradford, June Ralph Quisenberry; son, Mike Judy Perkins. 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren. He worked 35 years as a policeman and retired from the police department and railroad. He was a Mason at the West Nashville Lodge, an Al Menah Shriner, a member of the Drum and Bugel Corp, Chanters, and FOP. A Sgt. of Arms for the State Senate, a long time member of Park Ave. Baptist Church, and a present member of Scottsboro Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Bro. Mowrey officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. A Masonic service will be on Monday at 7 pm. Visitation will be Monday, 11-8 pm with and Tuesday 11 am until time of service at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME 6962 Charlotte Pk 615 352-9400 www.harpethhills.com
