John William Bush, age 78 of Goodlettsville, passed away March 30, 2021. He was born in Nashville, TN on February 6, 1943 to the late James William and Lula Mae Bush. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Lynn Cook; son Jesse Leon Bush, and granddaughter, Jennifer Dillon. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jackie Bush; their children, John R. (Kim) Bush; Ruthie Ann Dillon, Jimmy "Bo" Bush; daughter-in-law, Angela Bush; grandchildren, Kandice (Austin) Elrod, James David Dillon, Samantha (Daniel) Spain, Matthew (April) Williamson, Eric (Heather) Williamson; sixteen great-grandchildren; siblings, James Bush, Mary Pearson, Earline (Cecil) Stevens, Jerry Dean Bush, and Jesse Lewis Bush. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Thursday April 1 from 4-8 pm, and on Friday April 2 from 10 am until service at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Austin Elrod, Matthew Williamson, Eric Williamson, Jason Adkins, James David Dillon, Matthew Stevens. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny "Bubba" Stevens and Howard Jackson.
