Jimmie Gregory

GREGORY, Jimmie, age 58. Died on May 8, 2010 after a valiant battle with bladder cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Gracie and Floyd; sisters, Betty Katherine, Shirley Marie, Barbara, Linda and Margaret. He is survived by his beloved and faithful wife, Betsy Merlin Gregory; devoted son, Jimmie Jr.; best brother, Richard A. Annie Gregory; step-daughters and wonderful Christians, Casey M. and Haley D. Parks; in-laws, Mike and Jo Merlin. He graduated from Cohn High School in 1971 and was a retired Captain with over 30 years of service with the State of Tennessee. The funeral service will be at 2 pm, Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nashville's American Cancer Society or Nashville's American Diabetes Association. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
