THOMASON, Jim E., age 61, of Hendersonville, August 18, 2006. Mr. Thomason was a deacon and member of Bluegrass Baptist Church, and the executive director of the Senior Citizens Center of Hendersonville. He is survived by his wife; Janet Lee Thomason, sons; Alan N. Jennifer Thomason, of Cary, NC, Eric L. Kelli Thomason, of Petersburg, VA, mother; Edith H. Thomason, of Lexington, NC, sister; Susan Clark Shoaf, of Durham, NC, and two grandchildren; James and Sean Thomason. Mr. Thomason's remains are at Hendersonville Funeral Home family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2006 from 3-6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Bluegrass Baptist Church with Dr. Leonard Markham officiating. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The family requests memorial donations to be made to the Ingram Cancer Center at Vanderbilt University, the Senior Citizens Center of Hendersonville, or the Bradford Scholarship Fund at Bluegrass Baptist Church.
