Jim Denney, age 69 of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. A native of Sumner County, he was born to the late John and Effie Caldwell Denney. Mr. Denney retired from the United States Air Force then he went to work for R.R. Donelly where he retired as well. He is survived by his wife, Judy Denney of Gallatin; son, Jimmy Denney Jennifer of Nashville; daughter, Joy Denney of Smyrna; brother, Wayne Denney of Gallatin; sister, Louise Canter Robert of Bowling Green, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene L. Martino Jr. officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in the Gallatin Memory Gardens at Crestview. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, at 9:00 a.m. until service time.
