Jill Green

JILL FRANCIS GREEN, age 65 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away Saturday March 26, 2011 at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville Tennessee. Jill was born in Arlington, Virginia, September 30, 1945 to Col. Thomas Albert Hudson, Jr. and Nancy Wysong Hudson. She was preceded in death by both parents and siblings, Thomas Albert Hudson, III and Elizabeth Wysong Hudson. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Donald Harris Green and her daughters, Amanda Green David Yates and Kerry Green Steve Chamberlain and her six grandchildren, Daniel Ervin, Olivia Ervin, Mary Katherine Yates, Annabel Yates, Hallie Daniel and Hayden Yates. Jill was with the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters for almost 35 years, and prior to that worked in the broadcasting industry beginning in the 1960's with WKDA in Nashville, Tennessee. Jill was her grandchildren's biggest fan, never missing a sporting event, of which there were many. Jill loved her springtime flowers and looked forward to the arrival of the hummingbirds. Jill will be sorely missed by her family and the Tennessee broadcasting community. Her family will receive friends from 5 – 8 P.M. on Monday, March 28 and from 12 P.M. until service time at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, March 29 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
