Jerry Neal Redferin of Cross Plains, TN passed away Friday, March 12, 2015 at the North Crest Medical Center in Springfield, TN.

Jerry was born October 12, 1949 in Franklin, KY to parents Charles and Doris Givens Redfern.

Jerry enjoyed life, but most of all he cherished his wife of 46 years and his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister and brothers.

He was a hardworking man who loved the outdoors, farming, raising tobacco and fishing. He was a fan of football and especially the Green Bay Packers. Jerry and Shirley's favorite time of year was Halloween and they always had a blast planning for weeks their costume to celebrate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris Redfern and brother, Larry "Poss" Redferin.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Shirley Redferin; children, Amy (Jimmy) Stewart, Kim Bassette, Jeff Redferin; sister, Brenda Bush; brothers, Dennis (Olga) Redferin, Gary Redferin, Jesse (Dorothy) Allen; grandchildren, Chelsea Gammon, Justin Gammon, Preston Collins, Taylor Collins, Brent Stewart, Josh Stewart and Sabrina Redferin; great-grandchildren, Westin Gammon, Gabriel Stewart, Maddie Stewart, Aiden Collins, Brent Stewart, Jr., Waylon Stewart and Chrystal Stewart.

A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home, White House with Pastor Todd Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Plains Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Gammon, Preston Collins, Josh Stewart, Brent Stewart, Charles Redferin and Jason Stewart.

Visitation will be Saturday 2-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - service time at 2 p.m. at COLE & GARRETT FUNERAL HOME, 212 TN Hwy. 75 White House, Tn 615-672-3936
