Jean Teasley Adams, age 80 of Goodlettsville, passed away October 29, 2020. A servant to Christ, Mama to few, Bucky to some, and Mama Jean to everybody else. She was born in Nashville, TN on February 19, 1940 to the late William Franklin Teasley, Jr., and Elizabeth Temple Underwood. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Adams; son, Thomas Tawater, and sister Ann Coleman. She is survived by her children, James Tawater, Timothy (Cher) Tawater, and Beth (Jerry) Deering; grandchildren, Nikki Alvarez, Michael Tawater, Tina O'Guin, Lisa Ruch, Danya Tawater, Matthew Tawater, Keeley Lee, Hunter Kilmon, Wyatt Tawater, Savannah Tawater, Hayleigh, Declan, Ryleigh, Analeigh Deering; fourteen great-grandchildren, extended family, Brenda Jones, Chris and Amanda Jones, Ashley Thomas, and her son Renly, and a host of extended family and friends. Jean was a retired 911 dispatcher for Nashville Metropolitan Government. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Goodlettsville Tuesday November 3 from 2-6 pm, and Wednesday November 4 from 11am until the service at 1pm with Rev. Andre Dugger, officiating.
