Janice A. Hawkins Jackson, age 68, of Gallatin, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2007. She was born on May 21, 1938 in Garden City, Missouri to the late Paul Kenneth and Margaret Ellen McKee. She grew up in Harrisonville, Missouri where she married Waymond "Wade" David Jackson on March 29, 1961.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband, Wade Jackson of Gallatin, Daughters; Tracey Brad Robnett of Corinth, Texas; Tina Steve Losh of Bethpage; Grandchildren; Erin, Jennifer, and Daniel Robnett all of Corinth, Texas and Garrett Losh of Bethpage; Brothers; Ronald Karen Sue Hawkins of Belton, Missouri; Kirby Hawkins of Murfreesboro; Sisters; Selma Bullis of Kerrville, Texas; Karen Hawkins of Murfreesboro; Dana Chester McFall of Harrisonville, Missouri; two aunts; one uncle; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jackson was well known as the administrator of Park-A-Tot Daycare which she and her husband had for 29 years before retiring in 2000.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Jackson will be conducted on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Sharp officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens at Crestview. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. and on Thursday, January 11, 2007 from 4-8 P.M., and will resume on Friday at 9 A.M. until service time.
Gallatin Funeral Home & Memory Gardens at Crestview is in charge of the arrangements.
