Janet Carr

Janet Marie Carr, age 56 of Nashville, passed away April 22, 2016 at St. Thomas Hospital surrounded by her family. Janet was born in Washington, D.C. on September 17, 1959 to Fred and Dean Morris. The daughter of an Air Force Pathologist, she grew up all over the country eventually in the Nashville area where she remained. Janet has worked in the Banking Industry for the past 36 years most recently as Vice President of Cash Relations with First Tennessee Bank. She will be remembered for her outgoing and energetic personality; she loved gardening and often volunteered at the Nashville Rescue Mission. She is survived by her children, Deana (Dustin) Watson and Keith (Stephanie) Blanton; parents, Fred and Dean Morris; sister, Debbie Brown and brother, Jeff Morris. A life celebration service honoring Janet will be held on Monday, April 25th at 6:00 P.M. from the First Baptist Church in LaVergne, TN, 375 Old Nashville Highway, LaVergne.
