Janell Hoover

Janell Hoover passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville on November 12, 2022. She was born on April 21, 1932. She was described as a wonderful mom, nanny, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.E. Carmack and Vessie Carmack, brother, James Carmark and Dorothy Jones and Elizabeth Palmer, husband of 72 years Roy Hoover and son Thomas Hoover.

She is survived by daughter, Teresa (Gary) Harrison; 4 grandchildren, Amy Gregory, Chad Harrison, Rodney Hoover, Lori Waltington; great grandchildren, Peyton Hoover, Taylor McCarter, Logan Waltington, McKenna Harrison, Cody Hoover, Courtney Hoover, Jon Michael Harrison, Ryleigh Harrison; great great granddaughter, Brystal Lee; siblings Katherine Campbell and Carl Carmack; sister-in-law, Joyce Baker and a host of nieces and nephews.

Janell was a loving person, cared for her family and friend. Worked hard her whole life. She loved doing and teaching ceramics at her home.

A Life celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 1pm with James Edgerton officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Alive Hospice in Nashville.
