James Curtis Stigall, Jr., 49 of Goodlettsville passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Jim was born in Hammond, IN, May 23, 1972, was raised and educated in Cedar Lake, IN. He was the son of Lizzie Meridieth Stigall and the late James C. Stigall, Sr. Jim graduated from Hanover Central High School with the class of 1990 and moved to Goodlettsville but later returned to Indiana. He had worked for Globe Industries while in Lowell, IN and had played on their softball team. Locally he had worked for Youngs Nursery. Jim was an avid sports fan and participant. He loved his Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears but was also a fan of Nashville’s Titans and Predators. Jim enjoyed fishing and music. He especially enjoyed hard rock and heavy metal music of the bands Five Finger Death Punch, Seether, and Disturbed among others. He had a terrific sense of humor and was a devoted son, brother and uncle. He is survived by his mother, Lizzie Stigall; step-father, Jerry D. Irons; uncle, John Meridieth; sister, Buffy Anderson (John); step-siblings, Suzanne Irons and Chris Irons; niece, Alexis Carpenter; nephews, Jason Anderson and Zachary Anderson; several cousins and his beloved dog, Max. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at Long Hollow Baptist Church, Hendersonville on Friday, March 25th at 2 PM. Visitation will be immediately prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM.
