James Smithson

James Ronald “Ronnie” Smithson, age 41, passed away suddenly in Goodlettsville, TN on July 6, 2021.  He was born in Nashville, TN on October 10, 1979.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Frances Smithson, and his father, Willie James Smithson, Jr.  He is survived by his children, Derek Smithson, Hayley Smithson, and David Smithson; sister Tracy Smithson Johnson mother, Donna Henley, nephews, Blake Hoover and Joshua Cunningham; dear friend and mother to Derek and Hayley, Michelle Hallum, and his loving Aunts, Kathy Smithson and Sherry Midgett.  Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Goodlettsville Sunday July 11 from 2-7pm, and on Monday July 12 from 11am until service at 1pm, with Ray "Doc" Elder, officiating.   Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
