MOORE, James R., "Brother Jimmy" - He took the hand of Jesus on Tuesday, November 06, 2007. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Beverly Moore; son, Russ Moore (Ginger); daughters, Jeannie Swafford (J. C.), Amanda Mundy (Russell); grandchildren, Josh, Savannah, Jana Claire, Cassidy and Jamison. He is Pastor Emeritus of Parkway Baptist Church, having served for 28 years as Senior Pastor, and is currently Co-Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 until 8 p.m. at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2007 at Parkway Baptist Church. There will also be visitation at the church from 12 until 2 p.m on Friday. Brother Ken Castleberry, Dr. Fred Johnson and Brother Walter Phillips will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Deacons of Parkway Baptist Church and Deacons of Calvary Baptist Church. Active Pallbearers are Ken Castleberry, Greg Fuller, Jeff Lucas, Mark LeMay, Bill Salmon and Bobby Webb. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
