James Mimms

MIMMS, James Edward Eddie 52, Nashville, January 26, 2007. Preceded in death by grandparents, Jesse and Bessie Smith; father, James H. Mimms. Survived by wife, Wanda Mimms; daughters, Suzetta David Wells, Chelsa Mimms, Courtnie Mimms; sons, Tommy Beth Mimms, Dusty Lisa Hagood; grandson, Trevor Mimms; mother, Doris Mimms; brother, Randy Mimms; sister, Tina Martin. He retired from Teamsters Union 480 after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of the GRMC Motorcycle Club. He was a very loving son, brother, husband and father who was loved by all. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at The West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ricky Page and Denny Shepard officiating. Pallbearers are Cannonball, Jimbo Dillingham, Mark Philpot, Glen Dunn, Bubba Neely, Todd Maddox, Chris King, and Patty O'Neill. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10- 11 a.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
