James "Jimmy" Earl Ivey passed away at his home in White House, TN on Friday, April 3rd, 2020. Jimmy has worked as a network engineer for the past 21 plus years. He was an avid reader and musician, AKA "bass man". He is survived by his wife, LaDonna Ivey, their son, Austin Ivey, and daughter, Alyssa Ivey, both of White House, TN, his mother, Jane Ivey of Clinton, TN, brother, Kenneth Ivey Jr and wife Sandra of Knoxville, TN, and four sisters, Leslie Turpin and husband Rhett of Rocky Top, TN, Faith Dykes and husband Calvin of Clinton, TN, Joy England and husband Jason of Las Vegas, NV, Nancy Eicher and husband Gary of Powell, TN, and mother-in-law, Sherry McClenney of White House, TN, and brother-in-law, Michael McClenney and wife Jennifer of Memphis, TN, and sister-in-law, Lisa Frazier and husband Phillip of Dyersburg, TN, 20 nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Rev. Kenneth Ivey, and father-in-law, Rev. Mike McClenney. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions. Arrangements will be announced at a later time.
