James Russell Hunt, Sr. Born January 5, 1944, peacefully went home to be with the Lord February 5, 2014 at age 70. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Hunt; brother, Jerry Hunt. Survived by his wife, Ruby Hunt; children, Jim (Sabine) Hunt, Jr., Jeri (Tim) Bess, Jeana (Todd) Tippit, Janelle (Steve) Brewster; sister, Mary Elliott; grandchildren, Jenny Graves, Tiffany and Jeff Hunt, Dylan Bess, Josh Tippit, Kelsi Cox, Hoy and Sami Brewster; great-grandchildren, Aleiha and Silas Graves; and his dog, Frankie "Blue Eyes". Jim was a retired pipefitter of Nashville Local #572. A celebration of life will be held Saturday February 22, at 2pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. For those desiring, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the charity of one's choice.
