King, James Clyde, 69, June 18, 2007. Owner of King's Barber Shop and an avid golfer. Survived by wife, Dorothy King; children, Ben Andrea Tarpley, Kimberly King; sisters, Joyce Tompkins, Ilene Jones; grandchildren, Brittney Dawn Tarpley, Erica Dion Jarrett; loving dog, Bobo. The funeral service will be 12 noon Thursday, June 21, 2007 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Dr. John Gibson, Al Davis, Marvin Nischon, Jimmy Binkley, Roy Rogers, Tom Dickerson, Kenny Tompkins, Pete Knestrick, Charlie Daugherty, Dr. Angus Crook and Joe Foxall. Honorary pallbearers are All loyal customers and longtime friends of the Clyde King Invitational. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
