Jacob Federman Smiley, age 20, of Ridgetop, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his home.

Jacob was a very caring and loving person with a sweet spirit who loved his family dearly. He was a proud graduate of the Trails Academy in Brevard, NC and graduated and was Valedictorian of Benton Hall Academy in Franklin, TN.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Troy and Susan Smiley; sister, Rachel Smiley; grandparents, Ted and Sue Smiley and Gene and Faye Federman; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Friday and again from 10-11am Saturday at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James M. Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gideon United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greenbrier, TN.
