Jackson Taylor

Jackson B. "Jack" Taylor, age 79 of Hendersonville, passed away September 15, 2011. Mr. Taylor served two years in the U. S. Navy, worked 36 years for J.C. Penney and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bea and Dit Taylor. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Hilda Taylor; daughter, Trudi Chad Thacker; son, Brad Crystal Taylor; grandchildren, Rachel Thacker, Jamison Taylor and Harrison Taylor. A life celebration service will be conducted on Monday, September 19th at 2:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Gaia officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and on Monday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
