Jackie V. Tyree, January 10, 2018, age 65 of Cottontown. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Georgie Tyree. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Denise Tyree; daughters, Tammy Tyree (Darren Neal), Rachael Stimpson (Christopher Aughtman), Amy (Richard) Bibb, Beth (Michael) Jones, Anna (Seth) Hampton; grandchildren, Zakary and Zoe Stimpson, Jessie, Betty, and Thomas Bibb, Rebecca (Matthew) Danner, Alden, and Katie Jones, Clyde and Wyatt Hampton; great-grandson, Bentley Danner; brothers, Barry Tyree, Don Tyree, sisters, Peggy Grubbs, and Teresa Smith. Jackie was a very avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish, and he adored his dogs Buddy, Molly, Susie, and Ginny. For many years, he was a local residential contractor and developer. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Sunday from 4-8, and Monday from 11am until service time at 1pm with interment to follow at Palmer Cemetery.
