Mr. Jackie Ray Ables, age 62 of Cross Plains, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his residence in Cross Plains.

Jackie was born March 4, 1953 in Athens, Tennessee. He was the son of Roy Lee Ables and Lona Mull Ables. He was a printer and was employed by Quad Graphics.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lona Ables and by two sisters, Carolyn Phelps and Joyce Burris. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Ables; son, Joshua Ables and daughter, Carrie Ables-Hamre; five grandchildren, Hailey, Harmony, Hinslee, Chad and Cory; four brothers, Doyle Mull, Butch Ables, Perry Ables and Jimmy Ables; four sisters, Dorothy Meadows, June Puckett, Connie Ables and LaShon Ables.

Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 17th, 2015 from the chapel of Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House, TN.

Visitation Friday 2:00 p.m. until the service at 4:oo p.m.
