Inez Johnson

Inez Johnson, age 94 of Ridgetop, passed away April 13, 2022.  She was born in Old Hickory, TN on August 31, 1927 to the late William and Mary Mitchell.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Johnson, and brother Earl Mitchell.  She is survived by her sons, Jim (Barbara) Johnson, Jr., Mark (Beverly) Johnson, Martin Johnson, Tracy (Cindy) Johnson, and McCaw (Donna) Johnson; Nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  Inez was a registered nurse and worked for many years at Memorial Hospital in Nashville.  Funeral service will be at Highland Chapel Union Church, 1122 Highland Ave., Goodlettsville, TN where she was a life long member.  Service will take place on Monday April 18 at 12 Noon with Jon Briggs, officiating.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to service time.   Private interment will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
