Hunter Ackis

Ackis, Hunter S. - Age 87, went home to be with the Lord on
February 22, 2007. Preceded in death by his parents, Septimus
and Annie Ackis and brother, Ken Alma Ackis. He is survived
by his wife of 65 years Harriet M. Ackis; son, Kenneth F. Ackis
of Tucson, AZ; daughter Cheryl Mark Daniel; grandsons, Clint
and Hunter Carma Daniel; and great-granddaughter, Stella Grace
Daniel.Hunter Ackis was a loving son, brother, husband, father
and he never met a stranger. Special thanks to the caregivers at
Mary, Queen of Angels, NHC of Cool Springs, NHC of Franklin
and Odyssey Health Care for treating him with love and dignity.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to Odyssey Health
Care, 444 Metroplex Dr., Nashville, TN 37211. Visitation with
Family will be at 10 AM and Memorial Service at 11 AM Tuesday,
