Howard Oats

OATS, Howard Totty, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at the age of 53. He is preceded in death by his father, Howard M. Oats. Survivors include his mother, Vicki Oats; sisters, Angelia Oats of Lebanon, TN and Kimberly Mitchum of Vancouver, WA, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He survived a car accident in 1979, and remained in a wheelchair for 34 years. He never lost his faith in the Lord. He was a joy and inspiration to all of those who knew him. The family would like to thank all of his caregivers who aided the parents in taking care of him in his home. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 2pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Totty's memory.
