Herschel Cooper

COOPER, Herschel Leslie-age 85-Born September 23, 1924 in Primm Springs, TN Hickman CO. and passed away March 6, 2010 in Nashville, TN. He is one of seven children born to Lummie K. and Mary Emily Cooper. Preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Jean Sullivan. Survived by daughters, Sherryll Bill Cote, of Nashville and Carylon Buddy Killebrew of Chattanooga; 6 grandchildren; Connie Vaupel Overbey and Brandt Vaupel both of Nashville, Paige Austin, Polly Noonan, and Michael Austin all of Chattanooga, Jessica Frazier of LaGrange, GA; 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by special friend Angelica Duncan, sisters, Peggy Dean of Primm Springs, and Elizabeth Humphreys of Columbia, TN. He started Cooper Electric Co. in his West Nashville home in 1960. He ran his business for 44 years. He is a veteran of World War II, Member of Masonic Lodge and West Nashville Moose Lodge. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
