Helen Annette Skinner, age 70 of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord peacefully on July 16, 2008. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Williams; her parents, Carl and Mattie Taylor; and her sister, Yvonne Thornton, all of Jacksonville, FL. She is survived by her husband, Michael Skinner, Sr.; her children, Ashley Katherine Summerlin, Cindy Steve Berdan and Mallory Dustin Davidson, all of Hendersonville; Michael Skinner, Jr. of Orlando, FL, and Cherie Steve Kinsey of Cleveland, GA; her brother, Ronald Terri Cline of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Megan, Mandy, Michael and Brooke Summerlin, Tyler Ballangee, Grayson and Hayden Cole, Bradley Berdan, Jack Thomas Davidson, Autumn and Spencer Kinsey, and two special nephews, Pete and Terry Crews. Mrs. Skinner, formerly of Jacksonville, FL, was a devoted wife and beloved mother. She was a retired accountant in the hospitality and insurance industry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. She enjoyed life to the fullest, inspired and encouraged those around her to do the same. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was the epitome of grace and class at all times, only caring for those around her. More than anything else, she lived a beautiful life and loved with all her heart. Funeral services will be conducted 10 A.M., Saturday, July 19, 2008 from the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville with Rev. Roger Luther officiating. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Hendersonville Funeral Home.
