Harold Andrew "Brown Goat" Rader, Sr., age 78 of White House, passed away on April 23rd at his home surround by his family.
Mr. Rader was born on December 2, 1938 to the late Hugh and Helen Rader in Millersville, Tennessee. He graduated from White House High School, married the love of his life in 1958, and started driving a Food Grade Tanker in 1962 becoming "Brown Goat" over the CB air waves. He retired in 2007, so he could spend more time with his beloved and the grandchildren. This also gave him time to really enjoy his Antique International Harvester Tractors.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rader is preceded in death by his brother Phillip "Mickey" Rader.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Rader; their children, Cindy (Tommy) Rawls of Goodlettsville, Harold (Sharon) Rader, II of Sparta, Tennessee, Paul (Christina) Rader of White House and Kay (Chris) Taylor of Goodlettsville; grandchildren, Renee (Hunter) Thomas, Monica (Chris) Dickens, Leah (Eric) Orsborn, Alexandra Rader, Rachel Rader, Phillip Rader, Kori (Dustin) Weaver, Hannah Taylor, Hayden Taylor; siblings, John Houston Rader, Jerry (Cherlyn) Rader, and Melissa (Paul) Farmer and five great- grandchildren.

A Life Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, April 29th at Cherry Mound Baptist Church 4168 Hwy 31W Cottontown, Tennessee 37048 with Pastor Jason Malham officiating burial will follow at Hall Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the church. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Gideon International - P.O. Box 1408001 Nashville, Tennessee 37214.
