Age 83 of Goodlettsville, on Thursday, January 11, 2007. Preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Claire Hays, and brother, Sam Hays. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma M. Hays; son, Hal C. Hays, Jr. (Nancy); daughter, Rebecca Copler (King); brothers, Dick Hays and Wilber Hays; sister, Evelyn Robinson; granddaughter, Mary Margaret Copler. Mr. Hays is a member of Goodlettsville Church of Christ. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home. Brother Charles Baugh will officiate. Friends will serve as Pallbearers. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today (Friday), from 4 - 8 p.m. and on Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m..
