Gordon Melidis

Gordon G. Melidis born in Torquay, England in 1940. American citizen in 1982. Since 1967 was general manager of most of the best restaurants in New York and Connecticut. Moved to Nashville Tennessee in 1986 and worked for Julian's restaurant, the Belle Meade Brasserie and finally the Park Manor Retirement Home in Belle Meade from 2002-2006. He died of lung cancer the evening of Monday April 2. He is survived by the mother of his children and best friend, Denise A. Melidis and is proud father to Stephanie and Nicholas Melidis. Also survived by his mother of 92 years, Ms. Y 'de Vassart d' Hozier, as well as one older brother and four sisters. He had the pleasure and joy to have met so many nice friends. An informal family gathering will be held on Sunday April 15, 2007 from 2-6 PM. At Rumours Wine Bar 2304 12th Ave. S. Nashville TN. The family has requested informal dress with no black or tie.
