Glenda Bell

Bell, Glenda Earle Etheridge ---- Born November 6, 1940 in Macon, Georgia, peacefully passed away September 14, 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee. Preceded in death by her father and mother, Dallas Van Etheridge, Jr. and Lillie Grace Batchelor Etheridge of Macon, Georgia and her brother, Ronald Drew Etheridge of Athens, Georgia. Glenda is survived by sons, Wayne Knox and Michael Kelly Knox of Nashville and daughter, Wendy John Severance of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Holly and Aubrey Knox of Nashville and Jonathan, Evan and Emily Severance of Houston, Nonie and Rusty Dunn and their sons, Ryan Duncan, Michael Dunn and Will Dunn; brother, Dallas Van Margie Etheridge, III of Macon; nieces, Julie Eddy Landon and Vanessa Bryan Smith of Macon and Cindy Etheridge of Asheville, North Carolina and nephew, Drew Menna Etheridge of St. Louis, Missouri. Glenda graduated from Jones County High School and worked in the music and restaurant businesses in Nashville. Previous husbands were Buddy Knox of Canyon, Texas, Mario Ferrari and Ray Bell of Nashville. She suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and was a supporter of the Arthritis Foundation. In lieu of flowers, support may be given to the Arthritis Foundation. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Macon, Georgia.
