FRIEDLI, Gladys C. Nashville, March 5, 2007. Survived by son, David Judy Friedli; grandchildren, Rob Molly Maynard, Leanne Scott Latta, Cindy Jim Drane; 4 great-grandchildren. Hi Everyone, I'm at my Final Destination. It took me 89 years, 5 months and 6 days, but I finally made it. God walked me to the mansion and I didn't lose my breath one time! When we got there I got to see my husband Herschel, my daughter Pud, and my granddaughter, Davina. Tears were running down my cheeks. I looked at God and asked the question, "I thought there were no tears in Heaven?" He replied , "No tears of sorrow, Gladys, those are tears of joy." I'm not asking anymore questions! I want to invite you all to my celebration of life. My son, David, will be doing my service. I know it's rated PG, but at least I talked him out of charging admission. As far as pallbearers, I told David to get Ross and a two wheeler. But I think he's going to do it the old-fashioned way. Be sure and come, especially if it's a work day. This will be one celebration you don't want to miss. I love you and hope I see you all later. Take care of them Judy. Love, Granny. The celebration will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Highland Park Church, 5710 Knob Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Johns United Methodist Church, 6300 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN. 37209. Visitation will be Tues. 3-8 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and Thursday 10 a.m. until service time at the Church.
