Gladys Crouch

Gladys L. Crouch, 86, passed away peacefully, Friday, February 15, 2019 at her home in Nashville with her family by her side. Born December 2, 1932 in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Cordell Denney and Bertha (Basham) Denney. Gladys was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Leroy Crouch and also her siblings, Catherine Denney and William Denney. She had worked at the former TB Hospital in Nashville and more recently she had been secretary for the Northwood Baptist Church for several years. A devout Christian, she also attended Northwood Baptist Church. Gladys loved her family and especially enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. She loved to play the piano, cooking and the outdoors. She often spent time camping in Gatlinburg when she could go on a trip. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Upchurch; her sons, Albert L. Crouch, Jr. and Timothy Joe Crouch; a brother, Roy Denney; 8 grandchildren, Daniel Wilson, Joey Thornton, Rachael Hester, Michael Crouch, Cristopher Crouch, Jessica Crouch, Matthew Crouch and Brandon Crouch; and 9 great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 18th at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Goodlettsville.
