George Swing

SWING, George Ramon "Ray"- Age 73 of Hendersonville on Monday, September 15, 2008. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Ramon and Ada Swing. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Rosemary Kizer Swing; son, Gary Ramon Swing (Cheri); daughter, Rachel Anne Potts (Randy); grandchildren, Isabella Maya Swing, Makenna Morgan Potts, Nathan Randle Potts; brother, James Edward Swing (Luz Marie); sisters, Juanita Sircy (Harold), Jeanne Pennington (Dwight); several nieces and nephews. Mr. Swing was a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ and a retired employee of Commerce Union Bank. He enjoyed coaching Jr. Pro basketball in Hendersonville for many years. The family will receive friends at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday (today) and from 12 - 2 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the funeral home. Brother Keith Parker, Dr. Willis Owens and Dr. Rodney Cloud will officiate. Family will serve as pallbearers. Interment to follow at Old Beech Cemetery.
