Genevieve Tribke

TRIBKE, Genevieve Elizabeth of Nashville passed away on August 1, 2006. Mrs. Tribke was a finalist for the Mary Catherine Schweiss Strobel Award for Volunteer of the year in 1998. She also was a volunteer for the American Red Cross at the Nashville General Hospital for 30 years. She worked tirelessly for the improvement of care and services for the retarded citizens of Nashville. She also volunteered her time at the United Church of Christ in Nashville. Mrs. Tribke is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Arthur L. Trebke Jr. She is survived by her sons Thomas Trebke and Bruce Tribke; sister-in-law, Evelyn Tribke. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 4, 2006 at 11AM at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Bronson Netterville officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Rochelle center at 1020 Southside Ct. Nashville, TN. 37203.
