SMILEY, Genevieve Boyd - Age 81 of Goodlettsville on Tuesday, March 6, 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband, Freeman C. Smiley; brother, Jack Boyd; sister, Josephine Boyd. Survived by daughters, Barbara (Ray) Jordan, Teresa (Herb) Sands; sons, Ronnie Smiley, Richard Smiley; sisters, Sister Melanie Boyd, Joan Petrone; brothers, Pete Boyd, Joseph Boyd; grandchildren, Anna Margaret Postlethwait, Pamela McCloud, Christina Boyd Fuqua, Derike Smiley, Joan Smiley, Stephanie Smiley, Catie Smiley, Carla Smiley, Mary Smiley; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 2 - 8 p.m. on Thursday evening with a Vigil Service to be held at 6:30 p.m. at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Mrs. Smiley was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Joelton, where a funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2007 with Rev. Tom Bielawa, Celebrant. Honorary pallbearers are David Ray Luster, Ray Jordan, Donnie Dickens, Gil Huhleir, Wayne Carney. Active pallbearers are Derike Smiley, Jody Smiley, Hayden Smiley, Mickey Petrone, Joe Joe Petrone, Herb Sands. Interment at St. Lawrence Church Cemetery.
