Gary Wayne Bingham, Sr., "PawPaw" a beloved father and grandfather, passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on January 19, 1950, Gary lived a life marked by his unique blend of sarcasm, carefree spirit, and simple joys. He leaves behind fond memories for family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Gary served honorably in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty and pride in serving his country.
Gary was well-known in his community for his spunky personality and his talent for making friends wherever he went. His hobbies, which included leisurely walks around Millersville and tending to his beloved tomato plants, were perfect reflections of his uncomplicated yet joyful approach to life.
He is survived by his son, Gary (Susan) Bingham, Jr.; daughter, Susie Reddick; grandchildren, Deandra Nichols, Georgia Reddick, Afton Bingham, and Aubree Bingham; great-grandson, Carson Wright; siblings, Gerald (Joan) Bingham, Sharon Lawson, JB (Eddie) Phillips, and Merrilyn Gatlin; as well as several nieces and nephews. His spirit and laughter will undoubtedly be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Gertha Bingham, and his sisters, Joy McGowan. While his absence leaves a void in the hearts of many, his legacy of friendship and love will endure.
Visitation services will be held on March 11, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home and Cremation Services in White House, TN. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their memories of Gary, celebrating the remarkable life he led and the impact he had on those around him.
