Gaile Arrington

June 10, 1954 — January 20, 2025

Gaile Pope Arrington, age 70, of White House, TN passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN on January 20th, 2025. She was born in Memphis, TN to the late Robbie and A.W. Pope on June 10th, 1954. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: A.W. Pope Jr., Christine, Shirley, George, and Pat. She is survived by her daughter Sabrina Arrington, and her sisters Judy, Kathy, Sharlene, and Linda, her best friend Roseann Taylor, as well as many nieces and nephews. Although she is gone, her memory remains in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

For thirty years Gaile dedicated herself to her career as a bookkeeper for an advertising company, skillfully managing finances that helped distribute custom gifts for companies eager to show appreciation to their clients. It was a role that allowed her tenacity to shine brightly, embodying her strong-willed and feisty personality, and showcasing her skills in essentially managing a business.

At the heart of Gaile's existence was her deep love for her family, particularly her daughter, whom she treasured as her proudest accomplishment. Their bond was beautifully tied together through countless memories; excursions to the beach, yet Gaile found solace by the poolside. Trips to Pensacola Beach, Florida, and the breathtaking island of Hawaii became cherished chapters in their shared story, where the gentle caress of the sun was accompanied by laughter and heartfelt conversations, but where the sand remained a distant acquaintance—now and then dipping her toes into its inviting warmth.

A true nurturer, Gaile was the embodiment of kindness and unwavering love. Her nurturing spirit was felt in every meal she lovingly cooked, with her chicken and dumplings standing as a culinary mystery, forever a taste that eluded her family as they tried to replicate her magic in the kitchen. She was also an animal lover, as elephants captured her heart. There are no services to be scheduled for Ms. Gaile Arrington. In lieu of flowers the family please asks for donations in memory of Gaile to be made to The Elephant Sanctuary In Tennessee; North America’s largest elephant sanctuary located in Hohenwald, TN.
